Fog coming and going, wind and rain have quit,at least for the moment. Wind 10KPH southerly, temp 15C, similar conditions for the day, hope for clearing tomorrow.

Emily arrived home late yesterday afternoon. Roy and Cynthia had them underway shortly after 0900. They finally got on a ferry and underway from Blacks 1430HRS or there about. The hold up not a problem just one of those things to add to the 'what I did this summer' story.
She glad to be home, even brought her brother a rememberance, he responded with a thank-you, indicating they do communicate to one another.
After orientation within the household onto MSN to catch up on the activities of her new best friends, of which there to be many.

Both ferries running, takes a little more time to load and off load due to having to use the old wharf. Under the cirucmstances nobody is complaining about a short delay in travel time. The word is to have the matter rectified sometime today. Amazing how a couple of regular trips will have this event just one of those things that can happen.

Morning CHUNKS, fog certainly finding a home in his yard this morning, dreay once again.
We had the wind and rain also, but nothing too dramatic. A bit more than usual for this time of year, but no trees or strctures in jeporday, calm at the moment.
The ferry runs should be more regular today, and if all goes as planned the regular terminal will be back in operation by this afternoon. I wouldn't want the bill for the repairs on the ferry and now the ramp. The ramp had problems once before at a reported $250K to make it right.
CHEF AT HOME, Michael SMITH, doing a fundraiser for the B&G Club this evening. The venue has moved to the school from Castalia due to the weather. Had two hundred tickets to sell, could have sold lots more. Donna and I looking forward to attending.
Have a good one.
