Bright sun once again well up over Ross Island, a steady breeze NW @ 25KPH, temp a cool -7C expected to be rising to near 0 mark as they day moves along. Southerly wind tomorrow, much warmer temps.

Emily reportig in periodically to her grandmother, having a good time, no mention that home is where she would rather be for now. Today is a mall crawl on the agenda, no doubt a highlight, but some time at the pool and an opportunity to visit Tim's or McD's whenever the mood strikes is a novelty for them.

Rob didn't move too far yesterday, recharging batteries would suspect. Not much can accomplish outside even the fields have a crust of ice that will hold me up.

Dear Rob;

Darn - was hoping to see that awesome sun. Anyway - daughter has guests arriving from the Miramachi today, so it will be a lively weekend here.

Son off to Poley with God knows how many packed into the Grand Am. It is a need to know basis, and I don't think I want to know. There are 29 trails open today so should be a grand time. They have ski passes so may never see them again. KEEP FINGERS CROSSED. HA.

We are to have powder tonight - 5cm or so - so I can see another trip tomarrow. Snowshoeing for me.

We are almost through the break, but the weekend seems to be promising. The electric guitars are starting to pile up in the foyer.

I may not come home from salsa dancing tonight.

Morning CHUNKS, did not take any pictures, procrastination combined with work insured it did not happen. A dirrerent picture this morning lots of the ice shaken off overnight as blew and continues to do so.
Rob had a grand time on the mountain, will see today after he is rested if he falls into the 'bored' state as your group have lamented.
More snow/rain this way comes, hope we get the rain, enough snow for this season. Whichever a dirty weather weekend in store.

Have a good one. ROB
