Overcast, a steady northerly breeze 20-25KPH, -6C wind chill is signifigant. Weather watches and warning plastered on the site for our area freezing rain, then inalnd lots of snow between now and tomorrow night. Tuesday sunny and mild.

Rob up early to make sure his grandpa was on deck to get him to the boat. I was unable to avoid his discreet rambling around since 0530. He is ceretainly looking forward to the adventure, appears as if they will be in Sussex by the time the weather takes its first change. As daylight comes on so does the NE wind, he at best is a reluctant sailor.

Emily has some bucks in her poke for a possible foray to the mainland during spring break, babysitting has been a steady cash flow for her.

It just struck me funny - Emily may be doing better than a lot of folks twice, or three or four, times her age.

I just saw an interview on tv with a former Associated Press editor who was on the line in New York to get a summer job at the ball park.
I wouldn't make light of any of it, but you do have to shake your head from time to time and think, "Goodness."

Hope the weather doesn't cause any troubles - sounds like you're in for a bit of it.

Dear Rob;

It is NW here as well and quite cold. However, it will be a good day for the hill. A few snow fluffies at this hour but no biggy yet. Apparently, we are to have 25 cm of snow followed by 6 hours of freezing rain. Won't that be fun. Going out a.s.a.p to buy salt for the driveway. It will be sold out everywhere in no time.

I hope the boy has a wonderful time at the hill, and you have fun shovelling. HERE WE GO AGAIN.

Have been a bit AWOL this past few weeks. I've been doing a daily checkin during my lunchbreak at work but that's been about it.

Sounds like you folks have been busy. Miss Emily must really be racking up the babysitting fees!

I see you've been in the woods getting wood and trying to shove the excess snow away from the house.

We are "rained in" today. Not nice outside, at all. Or clothes pegging out weather.

I don't know about you, but I am more than ready for spring to sprung. I'm heading up to Dad's this coming week and am going to hit Park Seed Co. whilst I'm there. I've got orders in hand from two girls at work and I'm sure I'll find something to buy for myself.
