Quite a drop in temp last 24 hours, -9C at daylight, calm, clear, a few wisps of sea smoke evident as the sun starting to show over Ross Island. Southery influence by this afternoon, temp to rise with rain in the forecast first part of the week.

Both kids below decks last night, Emily out for the evening. Rob attempted some sk8boarding yesterday sun was out, but cool along with wind chill soon drove them to other endeavours.

A few more traps coming ashore yesterday, with the weather being as it has not much activity of any kind taking place on the water this past few days.

Good morning!

Sounds like you're doing pretty well with the Christmas preps. It must be a bit tricky, when you have to coordinate all your shopping trips with the weather, the way you do. Adds a bit of suspense to the process, I'm sure!

A bit grey here today. Possible showers in the offing, so no pegging the wash on the line today. I'll be at the laundromat, using the driers.

Hope you have a good Sunday!
