Thunderstorms last evening put power out for apprx. 21/2 hours. Returned just as the candles were being placed around the house.
Today wind changed to NE at 15kph, fog, damp, and that is the outlook for the holiday weekend.
No groundfish around as yet, and no indication if any of the fisherman are giving it a try anytime soon.

Jun 29/05. Final day to get lobster traps ashore, and again light sw wind and dense fog. Lots of traps made it ashore yesterday. However due to dense fog yesterday lots still remain. Supposed to clear later on. Temp 11C here and on mainland 20C already.

FIRST ATTEMPT

JUN 28/05: Thick fog, sw wind at approx. 15kph. A far cry from weather on the mainland our tempt currently 11C. Fair weather to have the lobster traps brought home by tomorrow if they can find the buoys in the fog.
