record rainfall yesterday in Hilo. 10.82" Mayor Harry Kim declares emergency.
Here at my house we had 6.02" yesterday and 4.57" so far as of 4:40pm Sunday and it is STILL raining. We have had rain for almost 2 weeks off and on. but this is normal for here.
Well today is a rain day as was yesterday. pver 5" since yesterday. over 2.80" since midnight. We are under flash flood watch but right here we don't even have much mud as we have lava with minimal soil.
we were heading to Kona to go to costco when the clouds parted for a few minutes and we pulled over and i got off 6 shots. I picked these two because it showed both views far and then tight.hope ;you like
