Mario is a 54 y/o mentally disabled man who worked at the Rotterdam zoo for 25 years as a caretaker. He is now dying from a brain tumor. His dying wish was to have his gurney brought to the zoo so he could see the beloved animals one last time. From 4:20 you can see one of the giraffes kissing him goodbye.

Mario Eijs was brought to the zoo on Wednesday. He passed away on Saturday. He was smiling while seeing his beloved animals---the giraffes were his favorite. A giraffe's goodbye kiss--
