Western Storms

Last night a tornado watch was just west of here. I was outside watching the wind and rain, then transformers began to blow, casting peculiar blue light into the rainy sky. We had already put the candles and lamps in a pile for easy access an hour or two before.

Received over an inch of rain yesterday and another inch overnight, so doing quite well.

Currently having high winds, with chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and eve, then snow possible overnight. For a desert in its own severe drought, this is big.

I will likely not spend hours outside in my bathrobe tonight.
