They told me today officially..My job will end 9/30/09. I work in a hospital, and I am a billing coordinator/ auditor. My immeditate supervisor who just got in her position from another one in the hospital, has decided that a nurse needed to be in my position. (Since my job was not clinical in nature, and I am not a nurse) Hospital took 4 people's jobs and made 2 out of them, and adding more duties to the 2 left. I am wondering how I survive this, especially since I have "experience" at this stage of my life, and I have looked around, and the outlook is grim at best, and I don't mind telling you...I am scared and worried about what will happen in the long term. Being a widow, and not finacially secure is frightening enough, but not having a job to get you by, you wonder how you are going to live. I intend to draw unemployment and pray this nightmare has a short ending, not only for me, but all the others facing this same situation.
I think it's a shame that so many other people now face this same scenerio.

My Great Grandson Hagen Dakota entered this world July 3, 2009 at 7:19PM. He weighed 7 lbs and 4 oz and was 19.5 inches. Mother and son are doing fine, and Mama did an outstanding job delivering him. I am proud of her, and see that she will make an awesome Mommy. She is wise beyond her young years!Oh Yes.......The new G-Nana survived too!

Lady Bird Johnson's beliefs regarding the importance of national beautification can best be summarized in her statement that "where flowers bloom, so does hope." She worked extensively with American Association of Nurserymen (AAN) executive Vice President Robert F. Lederer to protect wildflowers and promote the planting of them along highways. Her efforts inspired similar programs throughout the country. She was also instrumental in promoting the Highway Beautificat...
