Last years(2010) rainfall/rainy season started mid May - December 31st(official end).Total precipitation at my location was 4007.23mm or 157.76 inches

June 1st to 30th,rainfall has been above average with 422.9mm (16.6inches)recorded at my location.

Just under 5 inches of rain has fallen here in the past 3 days and with an active itcz/wave/weak low aproaching I'm expecting another 2-4 inches by weekend.Trinidad Radar...Link

Approximately 2 weeks ago the rains began.After one of the most sevre dry seasons ever observed.Rainfall has been on the heavy side within the last 4 days.2 week totals for my location is 466mm (18.3inches) with over 9 inches falling within 12 hrs (10pm-8am) on the 25th-26th............................................................For an Eastern caribbean close-up satellite image click the link below.... Yesterday we experienced very heavy rainfall in north Trinidad,aprox. 2.5 inches and with two acrive waves approaching we can expect more rain between sunday and tuesday............................................................For an Eastern caribbean close-up satellite image click the link below....
