Between Saturday ans Sunday, I took close to 500 pictures of the Easter activities and festivities at the Club when I work. I then spend hours editing them and posting them in a Picasa album. Now I can enjoy my 2 days off. Tonight Photoshop class... I am looking forward to it.

Advise: If you use a tripod, double check the safety of the latch 3 times rather than once. I always do. Unfortunately, last week it was not securely caught and my camera fell on the lens. I was sad and a bit mad! 18-200VR has been sent to Nikon for repair.

Hope you had a great Easter!

I am reading Scott Kelby's books and learning more about Photoshop. I am experimenting with opening all pictures in Camera Raw. JPEG or RAW as well as starting with a NEF/RAW pix and saving as a JPEG. This is changing the way the EXIF info is displayed on this site.As I long for tack sharp photos, I have renewed my commitment vows with my tripod and will no longer push a trigger without a timer or a remoteIt's all done with the goal of becoming a better photographer...

The day I forgot my glasses, discovered I had an almost drained battery in my camera and did not have the spare one with me, messed up with a deadline,... a weird day... but it could only get better and it did. Leaving work, I checked the camera again and it gave me juice for just a few shots.
