The latest storm that came through yesterday and today shared the same characteristics as the Blizzard of 2008.
Minus the cold air part.
If temperatures stayed around 30 we could have seen about 5 inches of snow, with a 10 to 1 rain to snow ratio. If temperatures were cooler, say 20 degrees, it could have easily been 7 inches or more.
Instead, we got ice yesterday, rain last night and light snow today.
Yesterday's ice on the porch
A solid .1" of ice on the car
A dusting of snow today
The next system will move in Friday night, with much of the same. Look for a mixed bag of precipitation. I'll update more tomorrow or Friday.
Season Snow Totals
