The light snow that was predicted for this morning that I discounted yesterday... actually happened.
CENTRAL OHIO...INCLUDING COLUMBUS METRO AREA...CAN EXPECT LIGHT SNOW
TO CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE EAST AND ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH 10 AM.
EXPECT VISIBILITIES TO DROP AS LOW AS A MILE AT TIMES. THIS
WILL CAUSE SLIPPERY SPOTS ON ROADS FOR THE MORNING COMMUTER...
DESPITE THIS...OVERALL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE VERY LIGHT.
LOOK FOR TRAVEL CONDITIONS TO IMPROVE BY TO LATE MORNING...AS THE
SNOW SHIFTS EAST OF THE AREA.
There wasn't any real accumulation, so I don't think we could say this was our first snow of the year, but it's at least a sign that the winter season is on track.
