I heard from our friends Lynn and Rich who are in their condo on Roanoke Island, NC which is just west of the overwash area. They still have power but the rain and wind is continuing. The only one suffering so far is their dog. "Poor Beemer is having a hard time, as he does not like to get his feet wet and he hates to wear a hat and coat to go out".
