Thundersnow sounds neat. Hope your friends and relatives in TN are staying warm in that N wind. The way this winter's going, snow might dip south enough to reach your panhandle.
Have a great Friday... Miss you at wu and glad to see your blog up.
:)
Another time it began "snowballing" during a thundersnowstorm. Little snowballs, about one inch around and very soft, began pouring down. Not floating like snowflakes but dropping fast.
My sister in Ft. Worth, Texas had thundersnow a few days ago. First time ever she knew of.
Good to see you.
Airman, my B.I.L. saw/heard it in DFW too! Hope you are well. The snowfall they had in E. TN was beautiful, the picture postcard kind of beauty. Can't say I miss it though, I still prefer warmer WX!!
Barefoot--- I owe you an email!
Miss Nadia, I hope you got the door to FB unlocked!
Mobal--- good to see you!
Shore -- deep freeze in the south, we were lucky it went just north of us.
Hope everyone is well. I'm still hibernating waiting for Spring & SUMMER!!
Good to see you back online!
Good to be back! How are you doing????
Glad to see you back on the blogs again, as you've been sorely missed! Did some nefarious trolls manage to return here while you were off? I haven't seen any for quite some time and hope it stays that way. Hope it doesn't stop you from checking in here from time to time!
May you and yours be doing well and have a most pleasant Valentines Day in which to celebrate!
Just busy! Hopefully things are beginning to settle plus cane season is nearing!
Happy Day to you!!
Just getting back in the groove! Bionic neck and all! I finally feel GOOD, GREAT! So Hopefully, I will visit the blog more often......
p.s. I still have hot sauce. weeeeeee!
Yikes!
Been seeing the stuff up around Shep but didn't look that far west since early this am.
Tell the pups Hi from Angie and I.
Be safe. Hope your YOLO weather arrives soon.
Hope your Easter weekend is a most enjoyable one and that you're making steady improvement since your neck surgery (?) I thought I had read where you had it done a month ago and were coming along much better.
Can't wait till your current 70ish degree weather becomes the norm for the Northeast as well! For now, we're just happy that all traces of snow have left our neighborhood, the sun's shining brightly and temps have risen to the low 50's. It's a greater start as we head into April, for March was a real cold and snowy mess! Hard to believe how quickly the months are passing this year, but will be glad when able to finally feel more summery-like weather here! My ole cold aching bones need plenty of thawing out! LOL!
AGAIN, HOPE YOU'RE FEELING WELL, HAVE A MOST ENJOYABLE EASTER WEEKEND AND WILL STAY IN TOUCH WHEN ABLE!
Love ya bunches!
-Rob & Angie

(((Foxxy)))
Get busy, babygirl.
My picking is slow going! LoL
And I still sound really bad!
Not sure I will ever sound good!
Bu thank you for the lesson, I need all the help I can get.
Good morning!
... High rip current risk in effect through Thursday evening...
The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a high rip
current risk... which is in effect through Thursday evening.
* Timing... today through Thursday evening.
* Impacts... life threatening rip currents are expected through
Thursday evening. Be watchful for breaks in the surf line where
an increasing rip current risk may occur.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
There is a high risk of rip currents.
Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore... which occur most often at low spots or breaks in The
Sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as groins...
jetties and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards and the beach
patrol. Pay attention to flags and posted signs.
If you become caught in a rip current... do not panic. Remain calm
and begin to swim parallel to shore. Once you are away from the
force of the rip current... begin to swim back to the beach. Do
not attempt to swim directly against a rip current. Even a strong
swimmer can become exhausted quickly.
Already quite soggy here!
Happy belated birthday, and don't forget to do da wave the next time you're at the beach! SSTs are already looking hotter'n they have since 2005, at least around here.
