It has been too long. I have married again and need to get back to the things I love. Sharing my part of the world and express my love of the outdoors. I will strive to update this blog more often and give you exiled Mainers a taste of what you are missing.See you soon. It's raining outside so I might as well upload some recent photos.

I am remiss that it has almost been a year since I have checked in. I have moved from one side of Old Orchard Beach to the other and now officially in Old Orchard Beach. Hurricane Irene is her way and I am looking forward to some weather. I will keep everyone updated through the weekend and add pictures as we go.

The hurricane was a disappointment but did offer some nice waves for the surfers. I walked to the beach yesterday to find numerous surfers enjoying the waves. Some people were in the water swimming so left so I would not see them drown. I woke up this morning to crowing crows and a cool breeze coming through my window. It feels good to have fall on the way. Change is good.

The temperature is 70 with blue sky over Old Orchard Beach.A slight breeze makes it perfect for sitting on the grass and having a beer. If anyone ever wonders why I love Maine it is because of days like this. Now all I have to do is the kids to the playground and tire them out.

We had two confirmed tornado's yesterday. One in Gorham Maine traveled 5.5 miles on the ground. We had fun dodging flying gutters on West Grand Ave. in Old Orchard Beach last night. The wind was whipping and the sky was dark at 7:30 PM as we headed to the laundry mat. There were rivers of rain water in the streets and patio umbrellas flying around. The weather was awesome. Trees blocked Portland Ave. and the Ross Road as I made my way to work this morning. As the say...
