I cannot believe we have not logged on since September. We traveled around Maine and New Hampshire a lot the last two months. I put over 7000 miles on our truck. Foliage was great on our trips to Ellsworth, Byron and Bucksport. I did not take many photos as we "lost" our camera in the boat and just recently found it. Good thing the bow is water tight. Speaking of boating, I was hoping to get out duck hunting but the time is growing short. It might be better to winterize the motor and put it away. I will update the page more often now that we are in more. With the time change coming the computer will become a friend once more. Bob and Missy

After the rain this week is turning out great. It was around 50 degrees this morning with sun forecast all day. I will post one photo of the waves that resulted from the last storm. Suffering the doldrums of rain last week I forgot to post a photo. We boated on Square Pond in Shapliegh Maine Sunday. What a beautiful lake. Missy caught six fish to my zero. Perch and sunfish were the fish of the day. Not good eating but fun to catch. We tried to visit Kennebunk Pond Su...

Hurricane Bill has helped out making Old Orchard Beach the fun spot. We went down last night around low tide to see some impressive waves. Several people ventured out to ride the waves. I saw a group of ten teenage boys do the group run to the water and it was fun to see one kid on the shoulders of another be completely covered by a wave! That was at least an 8 foot wave.Do to the red flag conditions on the beach we drove to Little Ossipee Lake today. The lake was a...

We traveled to Cliff Island Maine on July 30, 2009. It was a great day on the bay. I did not take many photos as I was busy enjoying the ride.Tonight we enjoyed the "Illumination Night" in Ocean Park Maine. It is a traditional way of marking the half way mark of summer in Ocean Park. I snapped a couple of photos to show what is looked like. Christmas in August.

We are heading to the Oxford County Fairground today for the WCCY concert event Oxxfest. As this is an outdoor event I sure the weather will play heavily in our day. Thunder showers and fog are predicted with plenty of mud to be made from the feet and moisture. I will report back later with a weather report as long as I don't get hit by lighting. If that happens you will read about me in the newspaper!
