As I walk into church
my eyes immediately search
for the wonderful girl known as Erin.
She is the only reason I look
forward to coming to
She is the epitome of a sunny day,
absolute perfect radiance shining
from her amazing persona.
She has such a big heart,
full of caring and kindness,
a joy to be around.
But, I don't want to unnaturally
lift her up to heaven.
I'd much rather her stay
down here with me and everyone.
She has her faults, and her quirks,
but these do not lessen
her value to me.
Rather, they make the angel she is,
all the more human and loving,
and one of the best.
To say something bad against her name,
is to speak blasphemies
against Mother Nature herself.
Erin, to me, is a wonderful girl. Someone I can enjoy being around. And that seems to be more and more rare these days. The poem above is dedicated to her. Nothing fancy, no rhyme schemes or syllable counts, just a nice free verse poem. I hope she enjoys the poem tomorrow as well, since I know that she has had some significant struggles in her life.
I know you guys (and gals) don't know her, and I know Max (trHUrrIXC5MMX) likes to daydream about me and her...but I still like you guys enough to post the poem here. Thanks for reading, and please feel free to leave a comment below.
