GOOD MORNING....

An Old Irish Blessing
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

I'm not a sandwich eater at all. I don't suppose I've had a loaf of bread in the house for a month. It's the sweets and late night eating that do me in. If I cut out the sugar and stop eating at the computer, something ought to happen by the end of the month!
Hope you're having a good day!
Hope you all have a great Tuesday and that your forecast be fair and starting to warm up too. Just another few more days, then it should be more like our normal temps for here.
Take care!
Have a great day everyone.
Hope you have a good day!
Hope you are having a good weekend!
Have a great morning everyone. Looks like it will be a decent day.
We have a sunny day, cold at the moment but it should warm up as the progresses.
Crocus and Jonquil buds are dancing in the sun, waiting for the proper moment to smile at the world with their joyful colors and scents. Camellias are in bloom, as are some Pieris shrubs. Birds are gathering twigs and leaves for their nests, and so are the squirrels. Soon we will be enjoying the happy sounds of the squirrels as they merrily chase each other round and round the tree trunks, also the chirps of new baby birds will fill the flower scented air. Proserpina is awake and hard at work.
May the warm rays of the Spring sun warm and delight your heart.
We have survived yet another Nor'easter our way and are also presently experiencing the first weekend in ages that shows sunshine, blue skies and warmer temps throughout! YEAH! Most of our roads and walkways are bare again but it'll take awhile before we see snow-free yards. Hopefully, another storm expected on Wednesday will produce only rain and help to further alleviate all this heavy wet snow.
I'm not sure if you're effected by our time zones in the U.S., but tonite we get to turn our clocks ahead one hour to a longer hour of daylight hour and, hopefully, the promise of a very pleasant official arrival of springtime in about two weeks. Can't wait to re-experience those warmer days and new growth emerging from the ground! It feels like ages since the last time!
Hope you're doing well and experience more pleasant weekend weather your way!
Temps for the rest of the week will be cooler but above freezing so I can live with that but can't wait until the 60s are here to stay.
Anyway have a great Sunday. Catch you all later.
Wow, you could see your temps rise to near 60F degrees today? Care to share??? LOL! Can't complain too much, right now, as we have sunshine, blue skies mixed with puffy whites and temps to near the mid-forties. It's a pleasant reprieve from the succession of snowy weekends felt for the latter half of February into March! This morning, I actually saw a wild rabbit hoppin' about our backyard in search of those open grassy areas that are gradually expanding from snow melt. Hopefully, it's a sign that spring hopes eternal (play on words) for much better weathered, warmer days to soon be in our permanent grasp! We could all use it right now!
Enjoy your Sunday and week to come!
Had a beautiful day here with temps near 60F. Sure made the day worthwhile to sit outside for a bit this afternoon. Going to start to cool down once the rains start but that is expected. We will see warm days again soon. Patience.
Have a great evening everyone.
Gotta go out in it a bit later to take the trash to the road and will need a jacket to keep dry. But it will be refreshing anyway.
Hope you all have a great day no matter your weather.
I'm looking for March to go out like a lamb; how about you? :' )
Don't care how March goes out, as long as it takes Old Man Winter and flings him to the farthest Northern regions it can find. So tired of this even though we have had a reasonably mild winter. I want sunshine and warmer temps to be consistent.
Have a wonderful day dear ones.
I'll take 60 and calm, TYVM! :' )
I wish it would start warming up here on the prairie. The spring thaw should be starting but it's still freezing and snowing.
I wish I could have a chat with my ancestors and tell them not to stay on the prairie.
Enjoy the day.
An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Don't forget to wear your green on Sunday.
That is ok, these Irish eyes will still be smilin' and I will enjoy a real Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage tomorrow...
Have a great day both you stinkers....
The snow missed us but i saw on the Weather network that you may have gotten a bit.
I beleive in sharing.:)
Enjoy the day.
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

It looks like we're in for another blizzard here on the rairie.
Where has spring and global warming gone.
Good Afternoon, (((Alley)))!
Looks like we'll be trading in our Irish Green today for more shades of white on Tuesday, as another foot of heavy wet snow is expected to arrive early am and last throughout. OUCH! Guess ole Punxsutawney Phil had the wool pulled over his eyes, as well, when falsely exclaiming that there would be a reduction to our usual six wintry weeks. HA!! Well, hubby and I plan to make the most of these couple of snow-free days by running essential errands while the asphalt remains dry. No room or energy for Irish Jigs anymore. LOL!
Hope you make out better your way, but it appears that many of us are caught up in the same snowy avalanche. Hope we can overcome cabin-fever before summer! LOL!
Clouds and fluries here tonight.
With the temp rising to -4 it will feel like spring.
