Good morning Alley. Enduring a pancreitit attack at home must have been something else. Be sure not to try that again. Have a great day. I have a birthday cake to bake for the GGranddaughter today. She'll be 4 today. They sure grow up quickly.

Almost time to open the blog now that I got all my outside work done....worked like heck on Sat and my lawn guy and I hacked and tied back the climbing roses, even had one 30ft runner that was tangled in the telephone wire. I don't use it, but I would not want it damaged by a wandering rose frond. I am on cable so no Ma Bell to cause me anymore grief...
Well time to get ready to head outdoors, take the trash to the road then come back in, wash my hands, have a coffee then head out the grocery store for noms for my babies...Boy they eat better than I do...LOL
Have a great day everyone.

Glad to see you've opened up your blog again, albeit temporarily, so I can thank you for your kind words and wishes left on my blogsite last month.
Things are seemingly returning more to normal now after quite an eventful past two months of serious health scares concerning my hubby. His neurologist changed some of his meds around upon his hospital discharge Aug. 30th and it's made quite a positive difference!
I saw on Tony's blog today that he, too, has had yet another recent health setback, which required a week or two of hospitalization for pancreatitis. I often think of what this courageous man and his wife have been through these past couple of years when dealing with some of my hubby's own relatable issues. I know that you, too, have had to face and overcome some serious health challenges of and on your own! I certainly hope that the fall/winter seasons ahead will provide better calmer healthier days for us all!
Good to hear that you've been able to get outside for some fresh air and can still deal with some of those pesky yard chores among other things. Glad, too, that you had the help of a lawncare service fella.
May you continue to pace yourself, feel well enough and get to enjoy some of the better aspects of the fall season ahead. We all look forward to when you can return on a more daily basis to your blogsite!
BIG HUGS AND WELL WISHES!!!

Good morning Alley. I have an ultrasound sheduled for the end of October to check the kidneys. Before eing discharged a urine sample showed blood in the urine. The doc will check it out to see if the pancreatitus caused any damage there. The pile of human junk parts I walk around with seems to be getting bigger all the time. :) Blood work shows the blood sugar levels remain stable so hopefully no damage was caused there. Enjoy your day.

What a frustrating day. Got ready to go to the lab, took a cab there and found that the lab was closed for renovations and had temporarily moved across town. Decided to hell with it and went and grabbed some breakfast then came home. Will explain to the doc that I did come to get my bloodwork done only to find the lab had moved without anyone, including the cab company, knowing they had.
