We have (briefly) thawed out today, after what seems like forever at -20F. 10 above, even with a little wind, is so much nicer than absolutely frozen stillness. You can see how happy all the critters are... they're positively giddy! And so am I. :) This has been an odd winter... ready for Spring!Just thought I'd pop in and say hello, and we're still here. :)

Thank you to everyone who sent messages... we are fine where we are. We are far enough inland that only a wave of Biblical Proportions would affect us. We have heard of some wave action along Homer, but no damage here.Our thoughts and prayers go out to those in Japan... I'm almost afraid to ask "what next", after this and NZ. next week's lunar influences when the full moon is closest to the earth than it has been in a while is supposed to cause some chaos... has ...

Temps near 0F and below, and more of the same for the rest of the week. Levi says it's going to get "brutal" after Christmas... I'm ready. Bring it!!!
