The northeast monsoon is likely to end late next week as the Siberian High over China will be replaced by an area of low pressure next weekend which is likely to even produce southwesterly winds over Peninsular Malaysia and the South China Sea.During that period of southwest monsoon like conditions showers and thunderstorms are possible over the coastal areas of the west coast states of Peninsular Malaysia in the morning.Kuala Lumpur is likely to see afternoon thunderstorms in the middle of next week.
