the cold surge has established over Peninsular Malaysia

The cold surge has established itself over Peninsular Malaysia.

However, the east coast is not receiving the usual heavy rain as the rain clouds are interacting with a cyclonic vortex over the South China Sea off the coast of Borneo.

This cyclonic vortex has the potential tropical depression or even a tropical storm or a typhoon over the next few days and make landfall over the east coast states of Peninsular Malaysia.
