Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 4:35 PM EDT on May 27, 2012

... Unseasonably warm temperatures to continue through Memorial Day...

The strong high pressure system will begin to move east as the
weather pattern that has brought near record high temperatures
starts to break down. However... hot weather will persist for one
more day. Highs on Monday will be in the lower 90s with heat
indices in the mid 90s.

Anyone planning to be outdoors should take extra care to stay
hydrated and avoid sunburn. Those working outdoors should take
frequent rests in shaded areas. When possible... reschedule
strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs
and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear light weight
and loose fitting clothing when possible and drink plenty of
water.
