Special Statement

... Accumulating snowfall expected this evening...

Light snowfall will continue spread into Southeast Michigan through
the late afternoon and very early evening. Snow amounts through
6pm are expected to remain below one-half inch. An area of more
moderate snow will then move across the area between 6pm and 10pm
as a strong cold front approaches. Moderate bursts of snowfall will
limit visibilities to around 1/2 mile at times this evening before snow
begins to decrease in intensity again around midnight. Total
accumulations by late tonight are expected to range between 1 and
3 inches.
