afternoon to 6 PM CST Sunday...

* timing... snow will begin during the afternoon Saturday in
Iowa. Snow will continue overnight and through Sunday.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches of snow is expected this
afternoon through Sunday afternoon. The higher accumulations are
expected generally along and north of Interstate 80.

* Wind... southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the upper 20s.

* Impacts... light to moderate snowfall will create slippery
travel conditions over the area... and will reduce visibility
to under 1 mile at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
