Synopsis For The Suwannee River To Destin Out To 60 Nm
Synopsis
Winds are variable across the waters but are generally on the light side. Long period swell generated by former Hurricane Dolly continues to trend down across the coastal waters. Both area buoys are still reporting seas between around 2 feet with 6 to 8 second periods. Wave guidance is dropping this swell even further tonight into the day on Saturday. Otherwise expect the marine area to continue on the northern side of the subtropical ridge through Saturday. This ridge is suppressed a bit further south on Sunday and Monday with a tightening gradient allowing for a bit stronger southwest flow.
