Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Tropical Storm Dolly will continue moving slowly west-northwest across south Texas through the early afternoon. Dolly will then move into Mexico later this afternoon. Dolly will push further into Mexico tonight and Friday and allow the winds and seas to gradually relax. A weak to moderate onshore flow can be expected Saturday through Monday.

Tropical storm conditions possible. Southeast wind 20 to 25 knots. Gusts up to 40 knots in the morning. Seas 12 to 13 feet. Widespread showers and thunderstorms.
Tonight
Southeast wind 15 to 20 knots. Seas 9 to 10 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.
Friday
Southeast wind 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Seas 7 to 8 feet. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning.
Friday Night
Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet.
Saturday
Southeast wind around 10 knots. Seas 4 feet.

Tropical Storm Dolly is expected to continue to weaken as it
moves west-northwest into the Rio Grande plains today.

This statement recommends action to be taken by those with
interests in the middle Texas coastal waters from Port Aransas to
Baffin Bay.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the middle Texas
coastal waters from Port Aransas to Baffin Bay. In addition... a
Tornado Watch is in effect for the bays and waterways from Baffin
Bay to Port Aransas and the coastal waters from Baffin Bay to Port
Aransas out 20 nm until 6 PM CDT.

... Storm information...

At 7 am CDT... the center of Tropical Storm Dolly was located near
latitude 27.2 north... longitude 98.9 west... 50 miles east-southeast
of Laredo. Movement is toward the west-northwest near 7 mph.
Maximum sustained winds have decreased to around 50 mph. A
continued motion toward the west-northwest is expected during the
next day or so.
