Areal Flood Watch

... Flood Watch remains in effect from 6 PM MDT this evening through
late Monday night...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of south central Montana... including the following
counties... Golden Valley... Wheatland... Carbon... park... Stillwater
and Sweet Grass.

* From 6 PM MDT this evening through late Monday night

* periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected through Monday
night, with areas of heavy rain. Rain totals of up to 2 inches,
with local amounts up to 3 inches, are possible, by the time the
showers taper off Monday night. This periodic heavy rain will
cause area ditches, streams and rivers, to rise aggressively and
possibly flood.

* Roads could become covered in water, with local roads possibly
becoming too Muddy to traverse. Be mindful to not cross a Road
which is inundated with water. Turn around don't drown.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood
warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
