Fire Weather Warning

Statement as of 2:49 PM PST on November 20, 2019

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 7 am PST Thursday...

* affected area... elevations above 1500 feet in fire weather zones
212, 276, 277, and 283.

* Wind... north to northeast, sustained 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30
to 40 mph will continue across exposed ridges and upper slopes
above 1500 feet.

* Humidity... 15 to 30 percent this afternoon, with 35 to 50
percent humidity recoveries tonight at high elevations.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
