Flood Warning


The Flood Warning continues for
the Neches River near Diboll, Texas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 915 am Thursday the stage was 14.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 14.8 feet
by Friday morning.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet... lowland flooding will slowly decrease for
the next several days.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Angelina river near Lufkin, Texas.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 715 am Thursday the stage was 16.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10 feet.
* Forecast... the river will recede to a stage of 15.7 feet
by Friday morning. Also the Angelina river will crest this
Thursday near 16 feet.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet... expect moderate to severe flooding of river
bottoms with considerable backwater flooding into Lake Sam Rayburn.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Angelina river near Alto, Texas.
* Until late Friday night... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 900 am Thursday the stage was 29.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Friday morning.
* Impact... at 29.0 feet... expect lowland flooding of the river bottom.
Ranchers that have cattle and equipment near the river should move
them to higher ground.
