Winter Storm Watch


... Winter Storm Watch now in effect from Thursday evening through
Friday evening...

* timing... a mix of rain and snow Thursday afternoon will change
to all snow Thursday evening. Snow will continue heavy at times
Thursday night and Friday, before gradually tapering off Friday
night.

* Accumulations... storm total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches
are likely, with amounts in excess of 12 inches possible.

* Wind and visibility... winds will increase from the north around
25 to 30 mph Thursday night, with gusts over 40 mph possible on
Friday into Friday evening. Visibility is expected to be reduced
to less than a half mile at times while snow is falling.
