The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a frost advisory... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 8 am EDT Tuesday. Clear skies and calm winds will lead to very cold temperatures tonight. Temperatures across Southeast Michigan will drop into the low to mid 30s allowing widespread frost to develop. Some locations may even see temperatures briefly drop below freezing. Locally warmer conditions are expected for locations adjacent to Lake Huron where frost will be more patchy. A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
