* until 1145 PM CDT Thursday/1245 am EDT Friday/

* at 539 PM CDT/639 PM EDT/, trained spatters and Doppler radar
indicated around 1 inch of rainfall in the past hour due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Kankakee, Rensselaer, Watseka, Paxton, Gibson City, Momence,
Fowler, Kentland, Morocco, Piper City, Roselawn, Talbot and

Additional rainfall of up to 1 inch is expected over the area
through this evening. This additional rain will lead to additional
minor flooding.

dangers of flooding.

The flood advisory continues for
the Kankakee River at Momence
* until late Saturday night.
* At 345 PM Thursday the stage was 4.0 feet.
* Action stage is 4.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 4.5 feet by Friday morning.
* Impact... at 5.0 feet... some flooding begins to the lowest areas
along the river.
