... Heat advisory remains in effect from noon today to 7 PM PDT
this evening...

A heat advisory remains in effect from noon today to 7 PM PDT
this evening.

A strong ridge of high pressure will remain over the area through
the weekend. This will allow temperatures to warm to 90 to 100
this afternoon. Temperatures are forecast to cool a bit on
Sunday.

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected which will create a situation in which heat illnesses
are possible. Drink plenty of fluids... stay in an air-conditioned
room... stay out of the sun... and check up on relatives and
neighbors.
