Patchy dense fog will continue across parts of central and southern Minnesota this evening...mainly along the Interstate 35 corridor between Mora and Albert Lea. Visibilities may be reduced to a quarter mile or less at times...although visibilities are expected to slowly improve overnight as drier air moves into the area and high clouds approach from the west. Fog will also spread to portions of west central Wisconsin this evening as the clearing line passes. Locations from New Richmond to Rice Lake...Menomonie...Ladysmith...and Eau Claire should experience a rapid drop in visibility as this occurs. If you are traveling tonight...exercise extreme caution. Reduce your speed...and allow for additional time to reach your destination.
