Gusty north to northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph with local gusts of 30 to 40 mph will continue... especially during the daytime... through Monday afternoon. Winds will likely decrease at night in the Sacramento Valley... however they may continue to blow strongly along the western portions of the valley and Delta Sunday night. This will keep portions of the Delta... Sacramento Valley and adjacent coastal mountains in critical fire weather conditions through Monday afternoon. Gusty north to northeast winds and low humidity are likely to continue below 1500 feet in the Shasta Trinity National Forest and along eastern slopes of the Mendocino Forest and Lake County mountains through Monday afternoon. Strong wind gusts in excess of 40 mph are likely after midnight and through the morning through the feather River Canyon... through Monday. Daytime humidity will continue to drop into the teens in these areas today and Monday. Areas of moderate to poor overnight humidity recovery are anticipated where winds continue to blow. Winds will decrease across the region by late Monday afternoon. Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the field of this warning.
