... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday afternoon through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter Storm
Watch... which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday
morning.

* Precipitation type... snow. Areas of blowing snow.

* Accumulations... in excess of 7 inches of snow possible.

* Timing... Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning.

* Temperatures... around 30 to the lower 30s Saturday afternoon... then
falling through the teens Saturday night.

* Winds... north 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 40 mph.

* Impacts... high impact. Snow and strong winds will create very
hazardous traveling conditions. Occasional blowing and drifting
snow will cause near whiteout conditions at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
