Ali Wamberg

Marketing

A Midwest girl at heart, Ali Wamberg is no stranger to inclement weather. Over the past decade she's lived all over the place trying out the climates of various locales. First she headed to Philly for undergrad at Saint Joseph's University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Marketing, but she just couldn't stomach thoughts of summers at the Jersey Shore. Next she moved back to hometown of Chicago, but within only a few months the sandy beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico were calling to her. So Ali packed her car and headed to the tip of Baja for three glorious years. There she worked for Prudential California Real Estate as a sales agent selling homes, condos, and land to North Americans looking for a little slice of heaven. Her perma-vacation had to end sometime, so she moved back to Chicago in 2008 to attend Loyola University Chicago where she earned her MBA. Realizing that Chicago's weather was just too schizophrenic for her, she packed up her car one-last time and headed out to San Francisco. She's been here ever since and joined the Weather Underground team at the beginning of 2011.

Born and raised to a family of seven kids, Ali enjoys lots of alone-time with her chocolate lab Finn. She also loves playing a round of tennis, tackling her new-found hobby of gardening, and throwing swanky dinner-parties.
