Rain and thunderstorms will continue to move southeastward across portions of middle Tennessee early this morning. Through 300 am, the heaviest rain will fall around the Waynesboro and Lawrenceburg areas, and also locations east of a Gallatin, to Smithville, to Spencer line. Rainfall rates in excess of one inch per hour will be common in these places. Some minor flooding along roadways is also possible, so nighttime drivers are urged to use caution in rainy areas.
