Area area of rainshowers and a few thunderstorms were developing westward over parts of the Metro east area. These showers and thunderstorms extending from gillipse Illinois in Macoupin County through O Fallon Illinois and south into Red Bud in Randolph County. The showers and storms were moving to the east southeast at 25 mph. Some of the showers may form over eastern parts of St. Louis County...St. Charles and Jefferson counties in Missouri including the city of St. Louis between 9:30 and 10:00 am CDT.
