The Flood Warning continues for
the South Platte river near Kersey.
* From Thursday morning until further notice... or until the stream
falls below flood stage.
* At 2:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
to rise to near 10.2 feet by early Saturday morning.
* Impact... at 10.0 feet... considerable lowland and Meadow flooding
occurs. Water is at the base of several bridges in the area.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 10.3 feet
on may 10 1957.

* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 8.3 feet by early
Friday morning then begin falling.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 8.3 feet
on Jun 19 1995.

the Cache la poudre river at the canyon mouth.
* Until further notice.
* At 3:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 5.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 6.5 feet Friday morning.
* Impact... at 6.0 feet... water is over the bike path and trail along
the river in and near Fort Collins.
