... Snow Advisory remains in effect until midnight MDT tonight...
A Snow Advisory remains in effect until midnight MDT tonight.
Heavy snow will continue across the north and east sections of Yellowstone National Park through midnight. A total of 6 to 12 inches of snow is expected across the higher terrain in the north and east parts of the park with up to 15 inches on the highest peaks by midnight. 10 inches of snow is expected over Sylvan Pass. Lesser amounts of 3 to 6 inches will accumulate across the southwest quarter of the park and around Mammoth Hot Springs. People planning activities or travel through Yellowstone National Park should be prepared for areas of heavy snow... limited visibility and snow-packed roads along with much colder wet weather.
A Snow Advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
