Special Statement
Statement as of 4:36 PM MST on March 01, 2015

A change to wintry and much colder conditions is expected Monday
and Tuesday. Snow will first move into the southwest as a storm
system moves across Colorado Monday afternoon... this will move a few
snow showers into Lincoln and Sublette counties at first. A second...
much colder system will then move in from the north Monday evening.
Temperatures will drop rapidly behind a cold front as it tracks
south through the state. Periods of gusty wind and light to moderate
snow will blanket the area through Tuesday. Most valleys and basins
will accumulate less than 2 inches of new snow with around 6 inches
of new snow expected in the mountains. Gusty winds will create
areas of blowing and drifting snow... especially on the passes...
along with low wind chills dipping well below zero... especially
across the north. The snow will clear from north to south late
Tuesday with a very cold night expected Tuesday night into
Wednesday morning. A warming trend begins thereafter.
