Statement as of 8:33 AM MDT on May 23, 2015

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
central Fremont County in central Wyoming...

* until 1230 PM MDT

* at 831 am MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an
area of heavy rainfall across the advisory area. Doppler radar
estimated that 2.5 to 3 inches of rain has fallen since 5 am MDT.

* Runoff from this rainfall will cause minor flooding to occur...
especially along small streams and near low water crossings. Some
locations that will experience minor flooding include... Bull
Lake... Burris... Crowheart... diversion dam rest area... U.S. Hwy
287/26 mile marker 80 and U.S. Hwy 287/26 mile marker 90.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Wind River... Dry Creek... little Dry Creek... bob creek... Sand Draw...
Willow Creek... North Fork Sage creek... Cottonwood Draw... Little Sand
Draw and Middle Fork Bull Lake creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from this storm will cause minor flooding of small
creeks and streams. Additionally... country roads and farmlands along
the banks of creeks and streams and other low lying areas are subject
to minor flooding.
