... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST Thursday...
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM MST Thursday.
Areas of light snow across the Teton Range this evening will increase in coverage and intensity overnight. The snow may become heavy at times on Thursday as the cold front moves into the area. Total storm accumulations will vary from 5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts on southwest facing slopes. Travel over Teton Pass will likely become hampered by Thursday morning due to snow covered roads... sharply reduced visibility and gusty southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
