... Weekend snow storm hammers the region...

A significant weekend snow storm brought heavy snow to much of
the region and caused many downed tree limbs and power outages as
well as difficult driving conditions. Temperatures were also well
below normal for this time of year. Below is a look at the
records that were broken over the weekend... the normals for this
time of year and the precipitation totals from across the region.
All temperatures are in degrees fahrenheit and all precipitation
amounts are in inches. Normals are 30 year averages calculated
from 1971 to 2000. Records started being recorded for the
Billings Airport in 1934... Miles City Airport in 1937 and
Sheridan Airport in 1934.
