Statement as of 9:39 AM MDT on October 11, 2008 ... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 PM this evening to 12 PM MDT Sunday... ... Winter Weather Advisory is cancelled... The National Weather Service in Rapid City has cancelled the Winter Weather Advisory. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 PM this evening to 12 PM MDT Sunday. Occasional light rain and snow will continue across northeast Wyoming today. Additional accumulations of up to 2 inches can be expected through late afternoon. Snow will then pick up in intensity this evening as the next disturbance approaches. Snow will be heavy at times tonight... before tapering off Sunday morning. Snowfall accumulations tonight into Sunday morning will generally be in the 6 to 12 inch range. A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter conditions are expected or occurring.
