Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 2:44 AM MST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 PM MST Tuesday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 6 PM MST Tuesday.

* Summary and timing... light snowfall will continue today... and
will intensify and become more widespread this evening.
Snowfall should weaken through Tuesday afternoon.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches with up to 6 inches south
of Interstate 80.

* Wind and visibility... west wind of 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to
30 mph expected tonight into Tuesday morning with a wind shift to
the northeast by Tuesday afternoon with winds gusting up to 35
mph. The gusty winds will create reduced visibility in falling
and blowing snow in addition to wind chills to near zero
degrees.

* Impacts... snowfall may create snow packed roadways resulting in
considerable travel impact... including Interstate 80 through
Sweetwater County. Windy conditions will create low visibility
and low wind chills tonight and Tuesday which could be deadly to
Newborn livestock and could cause frost bite to humans and
animals who are left exposed to the conditions for an extended
period of time.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and blowing
snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

The latest Road conditions provided by the Wyoming Department of
Transportation are available by calling 5-1-1 or on the internet
at wyoroad.Info.
