Areal Flood Advisory, Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 5:27 PM MDT on June 03, 2015

... The small stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until 715 PM MDT
for north central Johnson County...

At 524 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated new development of showers
and thunderstorms to the west of the advisory areas. These showers
and storms are expected to move across the advisory area between 530
and 630 PM. Additional rainfall of one-quarter to one-half inch is
possible through 630 PM with the heavier storms.

Small stream and creek flooding will occur in areas southwest and
south of Buffalo. Run-off from these streams and creeks will reach
Bull Creek and Cummings Creek. There may be low water crossings
along Klondike Road and other rural County roads where the water
flows over the top of the Road. Other impacted areas are those
along Red Hills Road southeast of Buffalo and Tipperary Road east
of Buffalo.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle
into areas where the water covers the roadway. When encountering
flooded roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... as well as farm and country roads. Do not
attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.
