* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... north central Laramie County in southeast Wyoming... south central Platte County in southeast Wyoming...
* until 415 PM MDT
* at 330 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail. This storm was located 9 miles south of Chugwater... or 30 miles south of Wheatland... and moving southeast at 25 mph.
* The severe thunderstorm will affect mainly rural areas of north central Laramie and south central Platte counties.
This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 42 and 51.
... Some strong storms moving across southern Goshen County and northeast Laramie County...
At 324 PM MDT... radar was showing storms spreading across the southern part of Goshen County into far northeast Laramie County. The strongest storm was located about 13 miles south of Hawk Springs... or about 33 miles southwest of Torrington. Other strong storms over in southern Platte County will also move across southern Goshen County. All storms were moving southeast around 20 mph.
Hail up to 1/2 inch along with heavy rain up to an inch and winds up to 45 mph can be expected with these storms through 430 PM.
